Everything that would not belong anywhere else.

Anyone know anything about it? I booked it on the way back from Beirut for some rock bottom price. I hear it's a decent place and the pool bar looks cool.

Any thoughts?

Where is it located? I expect a full trip report with plenty of pictures, INCLUDING full utilization of the room service. {thumbsup} :))
Slider... <sniff, sniff>... you stink.

Hah. There'll be pictures, I can guarantee that. Whether or not I remember what happened in said photos is not guaranteed though.

It's supposed to be across the street from the MGM Grand, I think they renovated the old San Remo Hotel.

Never stayed there, b ut I have gambled there.

It's not on the strip, block or two off, but close enough to get to everything. Is there a new Hooters Hotel and Casino in Vegas that I don't know about . . . cause the one I know of isn't across the street from MGM.

Not a bad place. Great reviews too, younger crowd . . .

Enjoy it.

No, I'm pretty sure it's the one your talking about. I have no idea where it is exactly (I was looking at a map), and I haven't been to Vegas in several years.

Is it close enough to the strip to walk to the monorail thing?

Oh, absolutely. A block or less gets you to the monorail station (walking West frmo the hotel). It's not far off The Strip.

Ok Cool. I'm sure I'll have a drunken brew-haha at the Hooters, but it'd be fun to go to Caesar's or the Flamingo or something as well.

thanks.

O'Sheas . . . . next to Flamingo (owned by them) . . . it's a dive, but I sure as hell have a good time there. :))

It's the old San Remo, it's across Tropicana Ave from MGM, just east of the Tropicana. San Remo wasn't that great, I went in there for the five dollar Prime Rib once when I was killing time waiting for a redeye back to Florida. Good food for five bucks but the hotel and casino had that rundown feel.

Get a room in the back and you should have a good view of Runways 19 at LAS.

Spicoli, I'm up a Duck's Ass on the location . . . .

I'm thinking of Hard Rock, not Hooters. Hooter's IS across from MGM, and closer than Hard Rock. Right outside the airport in fact. easy walk to the monorail . . . extreme south end of the Strip.

Never been in there.
