Does anyone else use a 4K monitor? Over the years of not taking photos, my monitor has changed to a gaming monitor which is excellent, but causes issues with scaling - Photoshop displays at its full native resolution of 3840x2160 but browsers scale to 150% so a photo that looks pretty sharp and crisp in PS ends up blowing out and being soft (at best, see below) or looking like a badly compressed JPG.

So with that in mind, is the best way forward to edit at a higher zoom level to take into account that future scaling will look that way and assess quality that way, or have people developed other methods?
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.
