I'm a happy bunny.

My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Nice.

Still the ugliest airplane out there. Paint job is a different story.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

Indeed. Saw that turning final for LPL a few times, over my old work, but never got round to photographing it before it was gone for good. At least I have a model of it.

When I have more time, I should give you the tour.

I also still have to repair a few more first, since they did not travel at all well. (Original boxes long since gone.) 90% had at least some damage, a good five or six models were completely buggered and I'm trying to decide whether another four or five are worth the effort.

Protip: Bubble wrap seems like a great idea, but what actually happens is that the gear punches through it, and the next jolt that causes plane and bubble wrap to slide rips said gear off. And it's an absolute bastard to fix, if you can even figure out which wheels broke off what.
