I haven't bought any planes for a good while, but I couldn't resist this from JC Wings:

At the weekend I picked up a box from mum and dad's with some more in. Hopefully they'll make it back to Finland OK {boxed}

Anyone else here collect 1:200?
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Too big. Great detail, but too big for the space I have. One of the Miami photogs has a room dedicated to 1:200.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

Yep, they're big... That, and the prices, are the main reasons why I don't have as many widebodies as I'd like. I've got a load of A380s but they're all 1:400.

Beautiful though :)

I only have 1:200s. But most are stored.
CALTECH 28 Nov 15, 05:09Post
Nice. Get them up to 1/144 and I am in. The 1/400 and 1/200s are gorgeous !
{thumbsup}

I did get some 1/150 airliners, since they are so close to 1/144 scale. They are in the lower left part of this photo

Oh yes, if I remember correctly the first prize was two tickets to use on their network but this one certainly made my day :)

If I was going to expand my collection, I'd like to go with something more along the lines of what airtrainer showed in that last pic (nice one, btw) - I'd like to only have a/c at 1st from airlines where I've worked, but, if it expanded from there, getting to where CALTECH is ( {bugeye} ) would be nice too.

1/400 or 1/500 are way too small in my opinion. I have some 1/200 aircraft, mostly Tu-154.

Oooh, I've got one of those, a Balkan Holidays IIRC. Have to get it out and take a photo.

One for the Maiden fans: Inflight 200, due out next month:

I have some 1/200 Frontier planes, back when they were a classy LCC. Not Spirit with animals on their tails. Also a WP Simpsons plane and Mindland 734.

I've also been looking for some Jetblue ones. But to no avail. And the ones that DO come up are stupidly expensive.

Depending on what you mean by stupidly expensive, there's a nice 1:200 A320 by Gemini Jets... Search on G2JBU285, there seem to be some kicking around.

Over $100. Even for the plastic Herpa ones. {grumpy}

Gemini 200's April releases are imminent, and include a jetBlue E190, seems to be going for about $65-70. Google G2JBU562.

I want the Virgin A346 so bad {bugeye}

This thread reminded me I have a 1:200 HP A320, still in the box. It's in the closet still as I have no clue where to place it. {boggled}
