KADS for FS9

Made from MAIW and freeware scenery libraries. Not perfect, but better than default.

North End:
Martinaire ramp on the left. Cavanugh just right of center. Millionair in the top right.
Image

South End:
Fifi lives in the trussed hanger in the lower left. American Flyers flight school in the center. Spotters in the black SUV by the tower ;)

If you want to put some warbirds in the Cavanaugh, you'll need the following files:

If you want to use the stand in warbirds, you will need to download the following files:

4_ga_t6_harvard.zip - Avsim
textures_ai_harvard.zip - Avsim
jyai_b29_fs9_1.zip - flightsim.com YES, that is an AI FIFI
gai_caribou_bp.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack1_fs9.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack2_fs9.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack3_fs9.zip - flightsim.com
acg_ai_pack4_fs9.zip - flightsim.com
JAI+AT6+Textures.zip - http://rayparker-repaints.jimdo.com/downloads-1/
P51+Textures.zip - http://rayparker-repaints.jimdo.com/downloads-1/
JAI+P51+MUSTANG.zip - http://rayparker-repaints.jimdo.com/downloads-1/
jai_c-47.zip - Avsim

Most of those aren't the right paint job, but they are the right type. If anyone wants to volunteer some painting time, feel free.

The CAV-CAF text below is the airplane and flight plan file information for making the flight plans for stand in warbirds. Separate them into .txt files and combine with your favorite airports file.

Make sure to check that they are all assigned mil_combat or mil_cargo parking types or you will find them in the oddest locations around the airport.

Libraries you will need to this scenery to work:

AG Tree Lib - agtrelib.zip - flightsim.com
Atsugi object library - MAIW Atsugi
Fence JS - MAIW Nellis
GA Hangers SS v3 - ga_hangers_ss_v3+.zip - flightsim.com
JGSE - jgse_j3.zip - flightsim
Large Hanger SS v2 - large_hangars_ss_v2p.zip - flightsim.com
MAIW ABO - MAIW Nellis
MAIW Aircraft Shelter Library
MAIW Cargo - MAIW Nellis
MCDMilitary Library - mcdmil.zip - flightsim.com
Parking lots Large SS - parklrgs.zip - flightsim.com

While creating this scenery, I noted that many of the General Aviation packs available have issues with their radius causing tails and wings to stick through things and oddly sized planes to park in small spaces. I suggest a review of AI GA aircraft to make sure they park in reasonable spots.

Oh cool!

I don't do much TX flying, but I'll add that in. {thumbsup}

I just started playing FS9 again after a long hiatus. Forgot how much fun it was. Currently flying an SJU-JFK B6 leg.
