Let's assume that you just came into $250K, and for the purposes of this discussion, you have to spend it on an airplane or airplanes.

With $250K, what would you buy?

As my pappy said: "If it floats, flies or fvcks, rent, don't buy."
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

Think I could get a hanger for $250k? Does that count?

A clapped-out Trislander just for the hell of it, and whatever's left I'll spend on hearing protection and chiropractors.
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Remember that the stipulation was that you have to spend it on an airplane, because we all know that plenty of people would say, "RENT IT IDJIT!"

I would get a Mackey or more probably this baby https://www.supercub.com/planes/backcountry-boss/, which I have seen built and flying in Wyoming.

The guy who started the company is from Miles City, MT.

Plenty of money left over from a ragged ol' 172 or something.

Buy a beat up C172 for about $50K and save the rest to keep the thing flying.
Look, it's been swell, but the swelling's gone down.

How much would it cost to "Buy" Ed and make him fly it?
