Last night: ACDC at Dodger Stadium. :))

Today: back hurts, neck hurts, legs are tired, everything sounds slightly muffled, and when I try and talk I sound like a 95-year-old chainsmoker.

Honestly, I'm only 33, but this sort of concert is just getting harder and harder to do. Especially on a weekday....

Rachmaninoff 3rd Piano Concerto.
Yuja Wang, Gustavo Dudamel, Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra.

Brilliant recording! Yuja Wang is a force to be reckoned with, and Dudamel is one of the rising stars in the classical music world.
Look, it's been swell, but the swelling's gone down.

The Scott Weiland Christmas album. Yep. He made an album of old standard Christmas songs.

For a couple of years now I've been heavily in to Public Service Broadcasting, a London-based band who take archive audio and video and add original music to it. Sounds cheesy, yes, but it's all pretty interesting stuff like WWII information films and most recently a full album's worth of stuff related to the space race.

Fellow aircraft enthusiasts might enjoy this one...

They put on a heck of a good live show too, as can be seen in the video for Go! I'll be seeing them for the fourth time next February.

Incidentally, how would I make the video appear in my post, like you guys have, rather than just the URL?

Hit the "youtube" button above the posting box and this will appear in the posting box:

Copy & paste the song ID (everything after the = in the youtube URL) between the song ID between the brackets like so:

ZyhrYis509A

Your video will then be visible and linked in the thread like so:

A million great ideas...

Thank you sir. And a most excellent choice of video to use as an example, I might add ;)

I woke up this morning with this song in my head. It's not on my iPod and I haven't listened to music in the car (other than Smooth Jazz while "working") for several weeks. {boggled}

Jan Böhmermann is a German comedian who has released some pretty awesome satirical music videos before.

But this one is just epic.
