So did I, but the date question was easy if you know the year because each of the years for the four options were different.

I thought you would do well. Over 50 people have taken it so far and only one other person has managed a 9. Lots of 3s and 4s.

I got a 9 out of ten, but couldn't log in so it didn't record. I missed the ICBM one as well. I put SCI

Does anyone else think it's weird how they think Japanese motorcycle manufacturers have something to do with geography? {laugh}

I got some dumb question about Irish alcohol or some crap. Still, 9/10, so the rest were easy! :P (Nah, I got lucky a bunch.)

Everyone petered out with the trivia?
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

It's definitely more fun when a crowd is playing.

I'm conceding this month because I'm leaving town in a few days. ;)

Merry Christmas to all !!!!

Just out of interest: I had the link to the game in my signature for a while, did anyone actually get reminded of it by that line?

Yeah, I just lose the link all the time.

Oh, and I missed a question about the satellites of certain planets. I hate to say it, but Pluto isn't a planet anymore.

It did inspire me to have a go again on a few ocassions, only to be put off bu the laughable, supposedly correct, answers given at the end.
A million great ideas...

I can't get over how obsessed the aerospace question writers are with WWII German aircraft.

And today was one of those days.....

Now I've been meaning to ask, who are the players? I don't recognize everyone.

DernierVirage - plays everyday.

Markko - don't recall that name. Is that Wisconsin Mark, or marching band Mark perhaps?

And others I can't remember now....

Yeah, who is DernierVirage? Mine name is very obvious. Today's game stomped me. I only knew 1 answer, and it happened to be the first three letters of:

I re-learned a valuable lesson tonight.

Don't do a difficult trivia test after getting 2 hours of sleep the night before while on a red-eye from the west coast and after demolishing a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. :)
At home in the PNW and loving it

I do the quiz the first thing when I wake up in the morning. Sometimes my eyes are so blurry with morning eye crud that I can bearly read. Wakes me up ten times better than coffee.
