From Canon Rumors

Canon has announced the follow-up to the EOS Rebel T6s, and it is called the EOS 77D (or 9000D in some markets).

One of the biggest questions we've received about the camera is how does it stack up against the EOS 80D?
Here is a quick rundown of the unique strengths of each camera.

Advantages of the EOS 77D over the EOS 80D
Less expensive at $899 vs $1099 body only
Built-in Bluetooth
Bigger JPG buffer
Higher extended ISO
Latest DIGIC 7 processor

Advantages of the EOS 80D over the EOS 77D
Longer stills battery life 960 vs 600 (Canon rated)
More viewfinder magnification 0.59x vx 0.51x
Headphone jack
Pentaprism over Pentamirror
Faster JPG shooting 6.8fps vs 6fps
Faster RAW shooting 6.7fps 6fps
Faster shutter speed 1/8000 vs 1/4000

Beyond those differences, the cameras are very similar and you likely can't go wrong with either.
