Canadian Navy invades California:

Continuing with the boat theme, here are some shots from down by the harbor. These are taken next to the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum. The first couple are from an accompanying exhibit. It's really excellent! There is a huge statue of the subjects of the famous picture of the Sailor kissing the nurse in Times Square after the war was over. Also there's a Bob Hope statue with some onlookers that plays recordings of his performances in front of the Troops from the Vietnam War. It was a very fun shoot!

Its of a Roy Lichtenstein taken from a 1962 comic. Its a very well known and iconic piece similar to Warhol's Campbell Soup Can or Marilyn Monroe. Despite my not liking pop art it is very $$$$$$.

Try Delicato, great sandwiches. Its on City Hall Ave a little outside the NE or Volle Nolle on Hanover, Italian and sandwiches.

No problem, I am more than proud of myself for knowing about crap art that critics have labeled brilliant. I am an idiot when it comes to almost everything- an idiot savant in art, books, and aviation- meaning I know alot about nothing and nothing about alot.
