NAS @ SXM: Let's plan this thing!

Arrange meetings, spotting trips and mutual flying activities here.

So, it's been brought up that there should be a meet at SXM because...well...it's SXM. So, let's talk dates (not the fruit)!

I don't know about everyone else, but I kinda need a quite of bit of lead time as my time off is largely controlled by seniority. Additionally, if I don't bid for it, I am then at the mercy of staffing levels.

I also need to build it into the budget. :o

Whaddya all think?

SXM is always worth a visit. Best time to be there is usually between October and April, because of weather, and well outside of Christmas and Easter, because of price.

I'm very much interested, but am probably the least reliable in terms of long-term planning. So I'll follow the date discussion and will then do my utmost to make it.

I'm interested. I need a little lead time, too, in order to get the best prices and timing for tickets from MSP.

I will definitely watch this space {cheerful}

The sight at 1:50 is a reason to go in itself :))

I don't think AF will have any A340s left by the time we get there {angel}

I am much overdue for a visit back to SXM! I can't commit 100%, but I will watch for the dates and airfares. I see that hurricane season officially ends in late November, but that will also be a popular time leading into Christmas and New Year's. B6 has some quite good airfares to SXM from FLL on certain days.

I'd love to get to SXM, hopefully a convenient date will be found!

I'm considering an SXM stint from 31Jan to 07Feb 2020. That week is the only one I can use for a getaway until (including) May 2020. {crazy}

BKK would be an option as well.

Last couple of trips I've gone in July...hotel price was almost half of what you pay during high season...
