Welp, Spirit letting us down once again, cancelation #5 and #6 - my son's return flight out of TPA also got canceled - within the last 12 months, so we are 1 for 7 on flights actually completed. I had only booked Spirit to finally use up my travel credit. Looking at flights actually available for booking on their website it makes me wonder if Spirit will be gradually pulling out of BDL.

I have to admit I have zero trips planned. Now that I'm living in paradise, I have no need to go anywhere. I might hop over to Honolulu maybe for a long weekend, but other than that, no interest in traveling.
Look, it's been swell, but the swelling's gone down.

What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

Looks like I will doing MSP-AUS a couple of times. Unknown dates at this point. Depends on which aircraft DL is using. For a while you were guaranteed a nonstop in a B712 or A220. Or sometimes a SkyWest E175 or CRJ-900. I will NOT fly in a CRJ-200.
Commercial aircraft flown in: B712 B722 B732 B734 B737 B738 B741 B742 B744 B752 B753 B762 B772 A310 A318 A319 A320 A321 DC91 DC93 DC94 DC1030 DC1040 F100 MD82 MD83 A223 CR2 CR7 E175

OUL-HEL-ARN (AY) and back next weekend. It was always going to be OUL-HEL-something, but the idiotic shipping policies of a certain global sporting chain, combined with the idiotic shipping policies of every forwarder I can find, mean that getting on a plane is the easiest and cheapest way to get the specific kayak I want. (It's inflatable and weighs less than 20kg, so goes in the hold easily, and isn't crap or stupidly expensive.) That and a few other details narrowed it down to ARN or CDG, and CDG narrowed it down to ARN. {crazy}

There'll be an OUL-HEL-IVL (AY) in the summer, for sure. I did a kayaking trip from Ivalo last summer, and I'm planning to do it again, this time with my brother.

Still just the faintest whiff of OUL-HEL-TLV for work hanging around, but I'm not betting on it. That should have happened right when Covid did...
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Those Concourse trams are getting ratty as hell. Was just down there 2 weeks ago.

Have you heard any word as to if they're going to update them after they finally finish Terminal C?

Heard nothing on the Trams nor the Terminal . . . total time on target at MCO last night was 27min . . . off fast (seat 1A/B), grabbed bags at claim 25 (24 was broken - usually don't have bags here, keep pre-po'ed clothing on station here, but . . . I have a wife) . . .

I'll check it out this week.

Trip report started - as soon as I finish here.
