Off the ground and flying. I would like to have been down there to see that but the timing just didn't work out. {grumpy}

Congrats to Space X and the crew of Resilience. {thumbsup}

Between Musk, Bezos and hopefully the Boeing product, America, and the world's future space flight capabilities are in good hands.

And yes, Arianespace, Eurockot, ULA, and many others I'm missing...

And it happened right above my head last night. Shame it was a typically cloudy November night so no show available.

Several firsts involved. First African American to start an extended stay on ISS. That surprised me. Glover, the African American, also received his gold pin from NASA for flying above the Karman line (100km) marking the boundry of space. Also, first non-American (Noguchi) to fly into orbit on a private spaceship.

A side note, I still think the environmental suits they wear for launch and flight look more like something you would see on a lobster boat...my imagination tags them all with Maine accents even though I know that's not true...just sayin. :))
