In no way a competitor to the A400M, being that it's the civilian offering of the C-130J Herc.
Nicely done though, even if it doesn't help the decades of dismal sales to freight haulers. While it's the perfect aircraft for the rough & tumble of military ops, the Herc lacks the operating economy to be anything but a niche player in the civilian cargo aircraft market.
