And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

Bad day to be a display pilot. I just hope this one's as lucky as the Thunderbirds pilot.
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Confirmed:

U.S. Marine Corps Captain Jeff Kuss was identified by a U.S. official as the pilot killed in the crash, which happened during an afternoon practice session. The Blue Angels were scheduled to perform there this weekend.

Both of those things happened, and in Texas today, a truck from Ft. Hood flipped in low water and 3 soldiers were killed, 6 others are missing (with 3 others recovered and being evaluated). Terrible day for a number of service people at home. {crazy}
