B17 crashed near Chicago today. Plane is a total loss, no one hurt.

The bomber, which was grounded over the weekend due to mechanical problems, took off from Aurora Municipal Airport at 9:30 a.m. Monday and crash landed shortly after.

It pains me to hear that, though at least everyone walked away from it.
Einstein said two things were infinite; the universe, and stupidity. He wasn't sure about the first, but he was certain about the second.
to the crew for putting it down softly so they could make it out OK, and also for putting it down in a place where no one else was harmed.
