Hey guys,

So I was reading on Anet about the C17s being at JFK recently. I read that there was speculation that the military was moving some soldiers and equipment around. This is not 100% accurate, the military has recently taken almost full control of shipping/moving their own cargo. They are no longer using any courier service to do it. FedEx used to be a huge lifter for the military but now most military product will be routed via JFK and sent on the C17s in lieu of us flying it out for them. Now this is more specific to equipment to the mid-east. Can't speak for anything in Asia or the Pacific. It makes sense, FX doesn't like it, but it makes sense.

Just some industry scoop. 8)

What is odd is using JFK rather than McGuire. Why would they do that?
