Refueling Your A-4

I am no A-4 expert.

However, while writing a paper I joined a bunch of groups out of Argentina on Facebook. I can fumble through the Spanish and get what they are saying.

A lot of the pictures are pretty cool. However, this one is a little puzzling.

If you notice in the background it looks like the A-4 is being refueled through the air to air refueling probe. I know these were early A-4s, B models with some upgrades I think. Did an A-4 not have a normal fuel port?

Thanks. That answers the if. But I am still questioning the why. It sounds like a less than ideal method on the ground.

Or perhaps a malfunction at the normal ground refueling point prevents it's use...
