23,000 Baby Chicks Die In Transit At Madrid Barajas Airport
More than 20,000 days old chicks that were abandoned at Madrid Barajas Airport have died. Police were called to intervene after it was discovered that 26,000 live chicks had been dumped at the cargo terminal after their containers became damaged. Only 3,000 are thought to have survived the ordeal.

Aircraft Part Found On Australian Beach Unlikely To Be From MH370
A fresh wave of speculation was ignited last week regarding the six-year-old mystery of a lost Malaysian Airlines 777. A piece of unidentified vehicle wreckage washed up on the shores of Australia’s Far North Queensland region, and photos of the part were subsequently posted to Facebook, drawing a large amount of public interest. However, some subject matter experts doubt that the piece could be from the missing aircraft.

Southwest Pilots Union Not Onboard With 10% Pay Cut

Airbus to modernize Australian A330 MRTT fleet
Airbus announced that it was awarded two contracts to develop and modernize the communication systems for the A330 MRTT (Multi-Role Tanker Transport) fleet of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
The upgrade is to give “new and additional Communications Capabilities and Enhanced Mission Systems” to the aircraft, as the manufacturer explains.
