A Qatar Airways Boeing 747-8F briefly blocked a runway at Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) after the aircraft suffered a hydraulic leak on Monday. Temporarily, some flights were diverted, but after some time, the plane was towed off the runway, and the airport reopened.

Third Cessna SkyCourier Joins Test Fleet
A third Cessna SkyCourier test airplane made its first flight yesterday, marking the last of the aircraft designated for Textron Aviation’s flight-test program of the high-wing twin-turboprop. Designated as P2, the airplane joins the first prototype SkyCourier in a passenger configuration while P1, which first flew last month, is in a cargo configuration.

First female name on Iberia’s Airbus A320neo
To show the importance and contribution to aviation by women, Iberia Airlines named it’s A320neo in honor of the first Spanish female pilot. Currently, 85 women work as pilots for Spanish national carrier, which comprises 6% of cockpit staff. While the percentage is small, the carrier employs more women staff than the industry average.

Why the F/A-18 Is Such a Badass Plane
