Airbus Deliveries Down By A Third In March
Airbus deliveries are down 35% month on month for the month of March. In February the company delivered 55 new aircraft. This fell to just 36 last month as a result of the current global aviation climate.

The development of the Boeing 767 was originally envisioned to offer three main variants. These were the 767-200, which went on to be the launch version, the 767LR version, which would have 200 seats and three engines and a shortened version, the 767-100. Boeing Working On Another Software Update For The 737 MAX
Boeing confirmed late on Tuesday that it will make two new software updates to its 737 MAX’s flight control computer. The aircraft manufacturer said the updates were not related to the systems that faulted in the two fatal crashes that saw the plane grounded a little over a year ago.

Wuhan Airport Reopens After 11 Week Lockdown
After 11 weeks of total lockdown, Wuhan’s Tianhe International Airport operated its first flight since the 23rd of January. Some of the first passengers to leave the province were doctors and other medical staff who were flown into Wuhan from other areas of China to help battle the outbreak. However, despite flights starting up again, not everyone will be allowed to travel. Only those deemed safe will be allowed to fly.

Heathrow Airport Reportedly Threatens Workers With Job Cuts
Employees at Britain’s busiest airport have been issued an ultimatum that suggests their jobs could be at risk if they don’t agree to a substantial wage cut. In a memo seen by Sky News, Paula Stannett, the airport’s chief people officer, has threatened employees with dismissal if they refuse what she calls a ‘voluntary’ pay cut of 15%. Employees are concerned that any re-hiring following dismissal could be on unfavorable terms.
