Thai Airways 747 slides off runway in Bangkok
A Thai Airways Boeing 747-400 suffered a runway excursion while landing at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Oct. 8. Flight TG670 was returning from Guangzhou, China and was carrying 97 passengers and 18 crew when it veered off Runway 19R into a grass patch at 10:48 p.m. local time.

PIA to boost fleet amid leadership changes
Pakistan International Airlines intends to dry lease two Airbus A320s in the first quarter of 2019. The carrier states that the aircraft "are already under the evaluation phase", and that the decision was taken after "an executive meeting" was called by PIA's new chairman and chief executive officer Saqib Aziz to discuss the airline's performance.
