Initial TAP A330neos painted
Airbus A330neo launch operator TAP Portugal's first two aircraft have been rolled out of painting at Toulouse. TAP is set to take delivery of the aircraft around the middle of this year once the certification programme – which began last October – is complete. The Portuguese aircraft have yet to be fitted with their Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines.

Qantas takes Indigenous Dreamliner home
Australian flag carrier Qantas has showed off its latest Boeing 787-9 – the airline's fourth - which features a unique Indigenous livery. Following its 7,020nm (13,000km) ferry flight from Boeing's Seattle facility, the Dreamliner touched down in Alice Springs, Northern Territory just after dawn on 2 March.

Icelandair receives first 737 Max
Icelandair has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737 Max, one of 16 of the re-engined family destined for the carrier. The airline confirms handover of the CFM International Leap-1B-powered aircraft (TF-ICE) took place in Seattle.

China Southern takes China's first A321neo
China Southern Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321neo, which also marks the first of the type in China. The jet, registered B-8367, arrived at the airline’s base in Guangzhou on the morning of 2 March.

Air Nostrum picks Magnetic MRO for CRJ1000 line support
Magnetic MRO has won a contract to provide Spanish carrier Air Nostrum with line support in Copenhagen and Zagreb for three Bombardier CRJ1000 jets. The Estonian maintenance provider has operated a line station in the Danish capital since summer 2017, and says it started supporting Iberia partner Air Nostrum there in February.

Airports across Europe and the United Kingdom are warning travelers to check with airlines for cancellations and delays before setting out, as severe winter weather is disrupting flights across the continent. Some airports in Scotland, Ireland and England are closed.

Peter Ingram took over from the retiring Mark Dunkerley as president and CEO at Hawaiian Airlines on Thursday, the airline's website confirmed.

American Airlines to offer basic-economy fares on trans-Atlantic flights
In April, American Airlines will start offering basic-economy fares on select trans-Atlantic flights. The new fare option will increase competition and allow passengers more choices in airlines when searching for low-cost fares to Europe.

​Tata, Boeing inaugurate Hyderabad AH-64 fuselage line
Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) and Boeing have inaugurated an assembly line in Hyderabad that will be the exclusive source of future AH-64 Apache fuselages. Under the Tata Boeing Aerospace (TBAL) joint venture, the fuselage sections will be produced at TASL’s production facility on the outskirts of Hyderabad, says Boeing in a statement.
