PICS: Runway collision between Sudan army planes injures 8
A collision between two Sudanese army planes on the runway at Khartoum airport on Wednesday injured eight people, officials said.
The Soviet-era Antonov aircraft had landed within seconds of each other when the accident occurred, an airport official said.
"Eight people were injured and taken to hospital when two military planes collided at Khartoum airport," said another official who spoke to AFP on condition of anonymity.

Avolon sells 16 aircraft, delivers 14 in 3Q
Irish lessor Avolon sold 16 aircraft during the 2018 third quarter and delivered 14 while its customer base of airlines grew.  The Dublin-based lessor had an owned and managed fleet of 571 aircraft at the end of the three-month period, a slight increase on the 567 it had at the end of the same quarter a year before. It also had total orders and commitments for 319 new technology aircraft as of Sept. 30.
