What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

I distinctly remember seeing Soul as Jerry Springer at the Cambridge Theatre in London for the play, "Jerry Springer: The Opera" in the summer of 2005. I never laughed so hard in my entire life!

Put em here.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

I loved how he was a fan of US service members, performing often for them.

There's a great YT clip of him surprising the wife of a homecoming serviceman with his return on stage at a concert.

How do you like me now

All really good roadtrip songs amongst others in his catalog. He will be sorely missed.

Alexei Navalny, 47.

The prison service there reports he collapsed while walking, most news reports I've seen online more or less concluded something happened to him. I could go on, but this would end up in politics.

I thought he had passed a while back.

Stand-up comedian and Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Richard Lewis has died aged 76.

Lewis announced last April that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and would retire from stand-up comedy.

He died peacefully in his home in Los Angeles Tuesday night after suffering a heart attack, his publicist, Jeff Abraham, told the BBC's US partner CBS News.

Known for his self-deprecating humour, Lewis rose to prominence in the 1980s.

For years, the actor and writer starred alongside Larry David in his HBO show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, where he played a semi-fictionalized version of himself.

He had most recently appeared in Season 12 of the show, which is airing on HBO.

Everyone's favorite A&P. {vsad}

Really sorry to hear about that one, he was incredibly talented. Of course, it's too bad that talent was a bit wasted for the cheesy writing his character had in "Iron Eagle" and it's follow-ups, but I feel like he did his best to make up for those deficits in the script. His abilities really did shine through in "An Officer and a Gentleman".
Slider... <sniff, sniff>... you stink.
