Who will be number three?
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

Burt Young, 'Rocky' actor, dead at 83

Marty Krofft, 86.

He brought weird shit to Saturday morning TV. "HR Pufnstuf," “The Bugaloos,” “Lidsville,” “Sigmund and the Sea Monsters,” “Pryor’s Place,” “Far Out Space Nuts,” “The Lost Saucer,” “The Krofft Supershow,” “Wonderbug,” “Electra Woman and Dyna Girl,” “Dr. Shrinker,” and “Bigfoot & Wildboy.”

He and his brother somehow talked the parents of 12-year-old Jack Wild into allowing Sid & Marty Krofft to legally "kidnap" their son and bring him to Los Angeles to be molded into a child actor. Jack Wild became popular, but also, from an early age, he learned to drink alcohol. Jack Wild died in 2006 from the effects of alcohol abuse.

Kinda surprised nobody mentioned Charlie Munger, 99.

Link

After Munger, then Kissinger, I remembered reading (here I think, maybe on Liners) about the rule of threes, then I saw the news about O'Connor.

Btw, Legacy.com each week has a tribute on YouTube to well-known people who have passed during the last week - on their thumbnail, they usually show 3 people with the most well-known in the middle. I wonder who gets that this week. {boggled}

Edit - Ok, forget that, it comes out Fridays, the 1st 2 were skipped on that and O'Connor will probably be on the one next week.

Nothing beats the great sound of McCartney playing a Rickenbacker 4001 bass and Laine playing a double neck, custom-made Ibanez 6-string/12-string on Band on the Run.
