I listen to NPR every now and then. It leans to the left ludicrously, but sometimes they have very informative pieces. I love Click and Clack also.
I used to know this black guy whose name was John but he told everyone his name was Troy. Nice guy. He dyed his hair blond like Cisco (this was 10 years ago). For some people their image is more important than who they are I guess.
On the same page, I wonder when Michele Norris came up with pronouncing her name Meeeeeeeeeeechele. Was it when she was a scared and lonely high school student wanting to seem different and exotic? Was it to keep her exotic Minnesotan heritage alive in her heart?
Every time I hear her pronounce her name it makes me cringe. I guess its a classic Holden type of reaction from me. In my defense she married someone named Broderick, so I guess she is drawn to stupid names.
Any other names that jerks make up?
