At first, I wasn't a huge fan of Cathay's new livery but it's slowly growing on me, then she showed up on a -8F in ANC on a clear evening. I think i'm in love.

Beat it to fit, paint it to match.

Outstanding, 4000 uploads is some achievement {thumbsup}

I always enjoy a good root through your OSH shots, they're a goldmine for the GA enthusiasts.

I wasn't expecting this Pilatus to be in the database already, but oddly enough it was spotted in HAM {bugeye}

That is a fine shot of the Beluga. Crisp winter light seems to work very well with it.

{thumbsup} Your latest shots look a lot like CO777ER shots, which is no bad thing at all.

Thanks! Having a "big boy" camera has helped.

Made it out there a couple of times. Loving the new camera but my old editing equipment is...needing help (or replacement).

Shy,
Where'd you go at Denver? Up North of the airport?

I've found a spot on 120th Street that I stage at. So far, I've only photographed the 16 arrivals. I haven't tried driving further east to catch the 17s since the threshold is further south of 120th. There is also 114th which will result in the aircraft being lower since it's closer to the thresholds of the 16s, but I haven't tried it yet.

When the field is in a north flow (seems to be a lot) there are other spots in the south, but I can't find my guide for the recommended spots. Something about the Mt Elbert Shuttle lot area seems familiar for a spot, near the intersection of Valley Head & E 68th.

I do know that Adams County seems spotter friendly while Denver City/County can get irritated. I also remember that the Cell Phone Waiting lot on Pena is off limits. Or maybe that was for Uber?
