And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

Yeah, it´s already time to start planning for next year. I have some ideas for the side trips after the meet! :))

Just had a quick look for the fares, still a little expansive at the moment, I will wait for the special offers in summer. But what I can see now, there is also a possibility to go with Finnair. That sounds interesting!

I am sure that it would beat your Airberlin experience.

I really want to attend one of these events. Hopefully I'll be in a position to do so next year. I'll start setting aside the funds for it now though.

Who knows, I might even be on the same flight. If not, I'm still gonna fly down from OUL just to watch you running for your connection {mischief}
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

Hopefully I'm not stuck in the middle of nowhere Louisiana next year.

A bit too early to book as most winter schedules are not published yet, and you don't want to book now and be rebooked on AB a few weeks later :))

Will keep an eye (or two !) on fares for sure !

I haven't got my confirmation for the ramp tour yet and I'm starting to get worried, is everything OK? {duck}

I hear that they're busy trying to line up a special aerial tour in a Skyhawk for you. ;) {laugh}

Are the dates subject to change to FEB/MAR as discussed on the Facebook group yesterday ? As some already pointed out, march would mean longer days and maybe lower hotels rates ?
One thing I'd like to ask, would it be possible to make a stop behind one of the runways for some burning rubber shots ? 8)
Anyway, thanks again to you all for organizing such a nice event !

Oh, I hope not. Febuary should be ok, but in march it´s very difficult for me to get some free days from work.

The dates are the same week in January. Disregard the FB post.
