News Article:
The rebrand “marks the beginning of a new era” for the airline.

The new brand color identity, comprised of green, blue, and sand, represents Saudia’s aim to expand its fleet and destinations, connecting the world to Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the Kingdom’s authenticity and deep-rooted values, a press release said.

In short, it's out with the new (i.e. current)...

...in with the old.

The new livery isn't an exact copy of the old one, as the Saudia titles are a bit different and the cheat line is thinner/lower, but it is largely the same.
Make Orwell fiction again.

I'm not seeing the sand...
My friend and I applied for airline jobs in Australia, but they didn't Qantas.

German registered ? Maybe just a temp thing.

It reminds me a bit of Aer Lingus, well it`s a little bit different, but I note the Artic White paint must still be on special offer.

Quick glance, I see Iraqi Airlines.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

A definite downgrade in appearance, at least in my horrible opinion.

Yep, come have a wild time in the Kingdom...dance and drink till dawn!!

Where do they get these artistic consultants?
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

It's essentially the old livery with the cheat line moved below the windows.
Look, it's been swell, but the swelling's gone down.

SV have a very strange marketing strategy in that they constantly shift between corporate identities and products without really needing to. They have their market in the same way BA do and they can always make money by throwing a load of leased sheds on the Mecca run. Nobody is looking at a snazzy new livery and being inspired to visit Riyadh, you either have to go there or you don't.

Don't get me started on the fact that they're actually Saudi Arabian Airlines but call themselves Saudia for a decade before switching bac. Very odd.
A million great ideas...

I know a lot of people who routinely go to Saudi Arabia and other nearby countries for business.

None of them would EVER go there on vacation- so yeah, Saudia could just paint it white and say screw it.
I like my coffee how I like my women: Black, bitter, and preferably fair trade.
