Two Finnair passenger flights had to return to Helsinki Airport on Sunday evening following separate collisions involving small birds.

The first bird strike involved a plane travelling from Helsinki to Warsaw at 6.30pm on Sunday. Two hours later, birds flew into a plane departing for Paris.

They've only got 12, so I bet yesterday was a fun day in ops.
