Well Known Alaskan Bush Pilot Perishes

All about Airlines and Airliners.

Evidently well-known among the Alaskan flying community, no word on what the cause might be. In the story however it says he was seen taking off but not climbing. That could be one of several things from engine trouble to weight among others.

What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?

Not a regular viewer but I had seen him on a few episodes of a discovery show. Very sad, must have been something unrecoverable to take out a pilot of that skill level.
A million great ideas...

This guy does great reports, and always maintains this is just what is known so far. He let`s the NTSB get on with their job.
