Really didn't see this one coming, thought the DoJ would let it fly.

Can't say I'm sorry. Both are currently rated as simply mediocre, with B6 sucking most criticism.

They would have sucked up a lot of NYC and NE market share. With the Jet Blue/Spirit merger the deal was probably always doomed. The government doesn't care about their customer service, just market share.

Where B6 and NK are concerned CUSTOMER SERVICE is no where in the radar.

Toss them into the mix at MCO, for instance . . . . a five star shit show. NK already easily handles most traffic at MCO, and it's a cluster already. The early morning struggle through TSA at 0600 is something to behold. Pre-Check is your friend there, even then it's 10-15 minutes for the first bank.
