Civil reserve air fleet activated by DOD

All about Airlines and Airliners.

Given that at least UA/DL/AA would still have aircraft in storage due to the lack of demand for international travel, this should have minimal impacts on those airlines. Not sure about Hawaiian. Don't know enough about Omni Air to comment.

The current activation is for 18 planes: four from United Airlines; three each from American Airlines, Atlas Air, Delta Air Lines and Omni Air; and two from Hawaiian Airlines.

At least some more pilots and FA's will have something to do.

This is only the 3rd call up of any part of the Civil reserve fleet since its inception in 1952.
What's the point of an open door policy if inside the open door sits a closed mind?
