Hamburg Airport is looking to scrap its Boeing 707-430 that was formerly a Lufthansa aircraft before starting a new life as a museum piece. The aircraft will be primarily recycled with interested individuals able to bid on their favorite pieces.

Another one bites the dust.
And let's get one thing straight. There's a big difference between a pilot and an aviator. One is a technician; the other is an artist in love with flight. — E. B. Jeppesen

There's probably just enough metal in a 707 to make a small keyring each for all of the regulars at the fence.
A million great ideas...

Hell, I'd buy a piece of it if they promised to leave it where it is.

As if it was not enough {cry}

Despite not having flown for the German flag carrier for almost four decades, this week has been a bad one for “Lufthansa’s” Boeing 707s. Yesterday Simple Flying reported that a former 707 at Hamburg Airport would be scrapped. Today it became apparent that another aircraft at Berlin’s closed Tegel Airport would suffer the same fate.
