The excess capacity in the industry is going to kill ACMI Leasing operators for a while. Ironically, they will probably be in great demand when things pick up and the industry needs time to catch up. Hopefully most manage to tough it out until then.

I would be very surprised if some US majors don't file, as they will have to restructure their debt for the long run anyway. I do think that Southwest and AA should make it through though.

One big US major in particular isn't paying their past due invoices with us and told us flat out that they won't for some time.

Understandable, but a bit of a bummer. Aerolineas is such a basket case. 4M was much more dependable operationally.

Like many of the others, NokScoot isn't really a bankruptcy, more it was sacrificed by a larger owner who had knowingly positioned a weaker subsidiary as a lightning rod in the event of a downturn, much as LH & IAG have done.
