Air France are planning a flypast over Paris to mark the retirement of their A380 fleet. I have it on very good authority they're planning to fly either two or three in formation, pending approval.
A million great ideas...

Strong rumours from usually reliable sources stating that BA have retired their entire 744 fleet as of 2200BST today. No more retro livery BOAC or Landor sightings at LHR :(

Sadly, over the last 2 weeks, KL, QF and BA have retired their entire 747 passenger fleets. I think the only major carrier left flying a passenger version is LH.

I just thought back to all the pax 747s I've flown on - I came up with 22 different airlines across all passenger variants except the -8: NA NW TW PA UA AR EI BA VS SK LH KL SN AF AT SA SW SQ MH QF NZ FJ
Look, it's been swell, but the swelling's gone down.

I heard on a Big Jet TV stream yesterday that one of their A380s had come back to LHR. Wonder if that's related.

1. I am very old
2. I've been flying since I was 2 years old.

Also... I forgot one... it's actually 23 different airlines.
SS (Corsair - pre TUI) 747-200 and 747SP

Very sad to see the BA747`s go, especially after the expensive refits etc.
Looks like I won`t get to fly in a 747,before they are all gone.

Something of a significant retirement this week when TUI 752 G-BYAY flew BHX - BGR - MZJ for conversion to freight ops. This aircraft was the last survivor of the true Britannia fleet:

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has officially retired its last A340. The A340-300 left Copenhagen for Tucson in the US earlier today. The aircraft, named Astrid Viking, will land in a few hours and will stay in Tucson for only a short time before heading to its final home at Pinal Airpark, Arizona.

The last KLM pax 747 flew from AMS to TEV for storage.

Maybe the very last landing for this airframe:
