The airframe (P2-PXE, 13 yo) is partially submerged in salt water, and likely will sit there for some more time barring suitable removal equipment on the island.
Most likely an economical write-off.

Just happening near my home, hot air balloon crashed into a powerline. 6 people on board. At the moment it says that height saviors rescued 4 of them. 2 are still up.

Now apparently confirmed fatal, after one man was supposedly seen to board a boat afterward and turned up dead in the lagoon.

What are the titles on the port side? Appears to be operating in partnership with another carrier/company.

^Looks like SkyLease was operating it for a Chinese fishing company. Here's what I've gleaned from a search for the N-number.

As to the characters on the side Jetphotos has this:

"This aircraft is operated by Sky Lease Cargo for a fishing company. The Chinese characters mean 'Having fish every year'. Since fish also means savings in China, it symbolizes being rich."

(If you've ever wondered why darn near every Chinese and most Japanese restaurants have a tank full of Koi, that's why.)

I was just thinking the cargo might have survived without completely turning into week-old houseguests given the deep-freeze conditions. Referring to JLAmber's comment on the smell. I'm not really qualified to talk about the runway choice, but . . . 7700' does seem a little short for a heavy cargo plane on a skating rink. I wonder if the pilots were familiar with the runway or if they'd more typically used 05/23. Halifax appears to have been quite the normal route for that aircraft, but the fact that 14 is asphalt and a half mile shorter makes me wonder if it's just not used as much.
